My Story
MY HISTORY
Originally I started playing the guitar when I was 16. I would meet up with a couple of friends, play some guitar, try to do some singing along to some good old rock ‘N’ roll tracks.........those were the days! It was a lot of fun. Any way, life moves on, relationships, family, work, you know the situation, so the guitars went…….but now they're back and have been for a few years now. Like a lot of us budding guitar players, I searched the Internet, purchased music learning discs and books of some of my favourite artists and bands so that I could play along. Then on one hot sunny day………sorry what am I saying, this is England, on one wet cold day I thought to myself that I would like to make up a music album, so I set to work. I learnt some new songs and tried out some different technics and recorded them. But now came the question of what to call this album and then it just sprung to mind, which is unusual for me to have such spontaneous thoughts like this. Anyway, I felt that this was something that I had to do hence the title of ‘It Had To Be Done’. This album was produced between 2013/14, which was made up of cover tracks with some of my own individuality wrapped up inside as well. I enjoyed playing and recording this album and also learnt a lot, which then led me on to my next project. This time I really wanted to produce my own work and place my own stamp on the music I was making, so I started work on the ‘Dead Cowboys Rising’ song, which was to become the first track and the album title.

MY INFLUENCES
My influences at the beginning were some of the rock 'n' roll greats such as Elvis, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran and then later on groups like ZZ Top, Def Leppard and Iron Maiden to name but a few. I am also very keen on the Blues with artists like Gary Moore and Jo Bonamassa.......there are so many more I could mention.

MY DREAMS
My dreams are to just play my music as best as I can, enjoy it and hope that you all enjoy my music as well.
